Mr. MANJUNATH N. SHETTY aged 47 years and based in Mumbai, is a serial entrepreneur in the field of Corporate Catering Business having a rich experience of nearly two decades.
Mr. Shetty hails from Kundapur, a small town in the Udipi District of North Kanara, Southern State of Karnataka in India. He had his own travails of rural living and barely managed to complete his matriculation (SSLC in 1985).
Like many of the youth from rural / semi urban areas of India, Mr. Shetty too embarked upon a pursuit to mega city, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in search of livelihood in 1985. He started doing odd jobs and then moved into various roles working in several Udipi restaurants during day time, simultaneously pursuing studies, by attending night colleges and completed his Commerce graduation.
The Shetty community, as such is basically an agrarian society. But over a period of time, fascination for food got the better of them and they gradually got into the business of making and serving their signature south Indian dishes through their hotels which became synonymous as Udipi Restaurants. It became a tradition among them to become a hotelier, sooner or later in their lives.
Naturally, Mr.Manjunath Shetty too was not to be left behind. He formed a Company wholly owned by him and his wife, in the name of SAI SIDDHI HOSPITALITY PVT LTD in 2006
Recently, Mr. Shetty was awarded the “Fastest Growing Indian Company Excellence Award” at the 8th IAC Summit & Awards on Global Business Opportunities held in Holiday Inn, Silom, Bangkok (Thailand) on Friday, 12th Aug’16.
A proven mentor for several of his aides, who have gone places themselves today, Mr. Shetty has always been a self made family man, hardworking, sincere humble, helpful and perseverant inspite of ups and downs in business. He always stood his ground with a nerve and never say die attitude, wanting to explore new avenues of any allied business.

Within a span of 7 years, his firm grew progressively over the years and in Nov’2004 came to be known as SIDDHI CATERERS & ALLIED SERVICES PVT LTD. He ran and managed this company with his other management aides till 2008 achieving an annual turnover of Rs.15 crores. (He parallely formed another company wholly owned by him and his wife in the name of SI SIDDHI HOSPTITALITY PVT. LTD in Dec’2006.) Having earned a grand goodwill and branding for SIDDHI CATERS & ALLIED SERVICES PVT LTD, opportunity knocked at their door and Mr. Shetty sold this company to a MNC in 2008.
In Oct’2010, Mr. Shetty diversified and started to manage a hotel named RAJA BHOJ in Bhopal, M.P. having 64 spacious guestrooms, restaurant and banquets under the name of PARIMALA HOSPITALITY PVT LTD. On 6th July, 2013, Parimala Hospitality got an award from “INDIAN HOSPITALITY & TOURISM AWARD-2013” by honourable Shri Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamil Nadu, and Assam & former Governor and Chief Justice of India, Shri O.P.Verma, at a felicitation ceremony in New Delhi.
